Ain’t Normal Coffee

Ain't Normal Café is a neighborhood destination for good food, wine, beer and coffee. Located in the heart of Oakland's Rockridge District, this casual cafe has become a favorite meeting spot for the eclectic residents that reside in this diverse neighborhood and community. When approaching the package design for Ain't Normal's house line of coffees, it was necessary to capture the eccentric and vibrant energy of the cafe and its characteristic namesake. Created with local artist and activist Bud Snow, the back of the package achieves this requisite by oddly depicting an average day at this sidewalk cafe.
